You’re Invited: Maia’s BPES Journey – Live on Zoom
Join us for a special Zoom session as we hear 7-year-old Maia’s inspiring journey with BPES (Blepharophimosis, Ptosis, Epicanthus Inversus Syndrome). Born with the condition, Maia underwent her first surgery at 11 months — which was supposed to be sling surgery but ended up as supramid sutures, unbeknownst to her parents. Last year, she finally received life-changing frontal flap surgery from Dr. Medel in Spain.
Come listen, learn, and show your support as we share Maia’s experience, from her earliest struggles to her recent progress.
